Dalton Hack owner of Snake River Pondscapes llc grew up in the small town of Erie, Colorado. he spent most of his time outdoors exploring and playing in the local lakes, streams and ponds. He was infatuated with the fish, animals and plants that inhabited them. He later in life moved to Idaho in late 2017 to be closer to family and fell in love with the states majesty. Especially its water ways.
Dalton worked in many trades and didn’t find any that fulfilled his creative nature or his interest in biology. Eventually in 2021 he found a local contractor that built water features began working for them and quickly climbed up to a foreman. He found that he not only was able to be creative but he could have a hands on relationship with the plants and animals he loved. In 2024 Dalton left and set out to start his own business and still works closely and collaborates with other local contractors to elevate the local water feature industry.
In 2025 Snake River Pondscapes achieved recognition as a Certified Aquascape Contractor through a demanding certification process that included detailed vetting, comprehensive testing, and intensive hands-on training. This distinction was earned under the guidance and evaluation of the most experienced and talented professionals in the water feature industry, ensuring our designs and installations meet the highest standards of craftsmanship, performance, and longevity
Dalton’s Primary Objective is to build Snake River Pondscapes into a company that can give back to the community and truly serve others in need. With that in mind he wants to give a piece of serenity others.

We will sit down and really get to know who you are and how we can customize a water feature just for you and your home.

Our goal is to replicate nature in your backyard but also to fit whatever aesthetic you are looking for.
